Introduction

The Author has been making commercial antennas for years. This is a report for a another commercially made one. The return loss is being 8 and 4 on 70-cm.

A cable was added in line to change the figures of 5 db on 2-meters and 4 on 70-cm.

For HT use this may work in some cases, especially on low power. There are other variables to the best (lowest) return figures, such as hand placement and type of radio. For example, some hand-held radios have more metal than others to which the former type helps improve that return level in many cases. All sweep-resonant points are in or near in-band. This is below typical on the better subbys.
