Introduction
The Author has been making commercial antennas for years. This is a report for a another commercially made one
It appears to be built for a light duty application for a type amateur station at the home or possibly low-level (non harsh) site. The assembly was somewhat confusing and the manual was not the greatest. The mounting bracket was the worse. It's all stainless steel however way to thin for any reasonable support. Some parts were missing from the vendor I purchased from which is no fault on the antenna manufacturer. Also, the vendor corrected the problem 90%. Once assembled the testing was favorable. According to the sweep for return loss, it's resonant at the bottom of the 2-meter amateur band. As usual the vendor (and supplier) gain spec is unrealistic boasting a dbi scale, most likely as a sales promotion. The honest gain is about 6 db over a reference dipole.
The manual is here for the antenna
