Cooke City is located about 35 miles SouthEast of Bozeman, Montana. From Spokane, Washington travel on I-90 pass, Bozeman to Livingston, then turn onto Hyway 89, The 540 then head East to Cooke City. You'll dip into Wyoming then back to Montana. Located only 3 miles from the northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park, Cooke City sits in the heart of the Beartooth Mountains. It doesn't matter if you come from Cody or from Red Lodge, the trip will be magnificent
