From Seattle, the driving distance is approximately 125 miles with a driving time of just over two hours. You can get to the area by driving north on I-5 to Hwy 2, then going east. You can also drive east from Seattle across either I-90 or SR 520 to I-405 and take it north to Hwy 522 heading towards Monroe. At Monroe, drive eastbound on Hwy 2 over Stevens Pass until you reach the Coles Corner junction (about 20 miles west of Leavenworth) between milepost 84 and 85. At Coles Corner, turn north (left) on State Route 207. To get to Lake Wenatchee State Park, turn left on Cedar Brae Road after 3.5 miles, and continue 0.25 miles to the park entrance. The north park campground entrance is one mile beyond the south park turnoff on Highway 207, 4.5 miles north of Highway 2.
Continue down 209 for five miles to reach Plain, Just Plain Grocery, and Plain Hardware & Garden Center.
If you stay on 207, you quickly reach Parkside Gas & Grocery, The Happy Clown Restaurant, and Headwaters Sports Bar.
Continuing over the river, at the "Y" veer to the right which puts you on Chiwawa Loop Road.
The turnoff for The Cove Resort on Fish Lake is the left just after the entrance to the airport.
Further down Chiwawa Loop Road is Midway Village, and finally Thousand Trails. This road will also eventually take you to Plain.
