Surveyor Mt. is that "little" turnoff that you normally would miss. It's between the town of Cyr and Tarkio, more specifically about 10 miles East of Superior, Mt.
The play area is pretty good. It's about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Spokane. Go on I-90 to Montana, passing Lookout Pass,(exit 0) at the state line. Estimate earth coordinates
here, are 47.2526970 North and -115.0491333 West.
Go about another 66 miles.
At exit 66 (fish creek) take the exit and at the intersection, turn right (South) onto the side road that parallels the Hyway, going back West.
Go 6.5 miles to a "Y" and stay left.
Go 2.3 miles to a "Y" and stay left.
Go 1.1 mile to a "Y" and stay right.
Go 2.2 miles to a "T" and stay straight (if that's a little unclear!!).
Go one tenth of a mile and stay right.
Go 1.1 mile to a bridge and stay left.
Go eight tens of a mile to another bridge and stay right.
Go three tenths of a mile to an intersection and stay straight. There's a map/sign there. Optionally you could stay left at the "Y" as well.
Go eight tenths of a mile to a "Y" and stay left.
Go 1.1 mile to a "Y" and stay left.
Go 2.1 miles to a "Y" and stay right.
